Aquaculture Oxygenation Systems
Oxyniti builds nano-bubble aeration systems for aquaculture — engineered to keep dissolved oxygen (DO) high throughout the water column, not just at the surface, so farmed fish and shrimp stay healthy through the night.
Why dissolved oxygen matters
After sunset, algae stop producing oxygen and start consuming it. In a conventional pond, dissolved oxygen can fall sharply by the early hours of the morning — the danger zone for every farmed species. Fish under oxygen stress eat less, convert feed poorly, and a single severe crash can wipe out months of investment.
How Oxyniti raises dissolved oxygen
A conventional paddle-wheel aerator splashes oxygen in at the surface; large bubbles rise and burst within seconds, and most of that oxygen escapes back to the air. Oxyniti's nano-shear chamber instead draws pond water and injects air through a nano-shear process, generating bubbles under 200 nanometres across. At that size the bubbles are neutrally buoyant — they stay suspended in the water column and keep transferring oxygen for an extended period, rather than surfacing and escaping immediately.
Where it applies
The same oxygen-transfer approach applies across pond-based grow-out, hatcheries, and higher-density systems such as biofloc and recirculating aquaculture (RAS), wherever maintaining dissolved oxygen is a limiting factor on stocking density or growth.
